The Pittsford Mustangs Soccer Academy (PMSA) is a skill-development program designed to enhance the skills of our Travel Soccer Players.
How will the PMSA work?
Any player selected for Travel Soccer will have the opportunity to participate in a multi-week, skill development program that will utilize a curriculum designed to enhance soccer skills in a fun but challenging environment.
Registration is available online only (see schedule below). Academy registrants MUST be registered for TRAVEL soccer. TRAVEL Soccer team tryouts will take place in September 2010. If a player is not selected for a TRAVEL soccer team, they may still attend PMS Academy. Please contact Betty Noonan at bnoonan@rochester.rr.com.
Who does the training?
The Pittsford Mustang Soccer Academy is run by a highly trained staff of professionals from Doug Miller Soccer Training. This staff may be assisted by Pittsford Mustangs Soccer Coaches.
Where does the training take place?
All sessions of the PMSA will take place at Brighton Sports Zone with the exception of Special Sessions in the Spring. Special Session locations will be announced with registration.
Pittsford Mustangs Soccer Academy for U8-12:
The Academy for U8-12 will be offered in two sessions. Schedule is as follows:
Session 1: October 6-November 12. 7 weeks. 2 times per week. Wednesday and Fri day from 430-6pm.
Session 2:
For those young players who want to continue to complement their team training with additional skill building throughout the winter and early spring.
January 7-April 8. Friday nights from 430-6pm.

Pittsford Mustangs Soccer Academy for U13+
November 7 – December 19. Sunday 430-6pm. Monday 530-7pm.
Pittsford Mustangs Soccer Special Sessions U13+
For those more experienced players who want to get into peak physical condition for TRAVEL Soccer season, this PMSA Speed and Conditioning Program will complement your team training.
More details and registration information will be available in November 2010.
For those more experienced players who want to further their Goal Keeping skills, this PMSA Goal Keeper training will be offered Saturdays 4-6pm at Brighton Sports Zone in January-February 2011 and again in Spring, pre-season (dates, times and locations to be announced in November 2011)

Family and Multi-Session Discounts
The registration fee for the Academy is $175 per playerfor the first 2 players in a family, $75 for the third player. There is no cost for any additional family members that register for the Academy.
Once you have been notified of your child's placement on a TRAVEL Soccer team, payment for the Academy will be due by October 1.
