The Pittsford Mustangs Soccer club sponsors an award to recognize high school senior student athletes who have participated as members of the Soccer Club. Recipients will have demonstrated sportsmanship, scholarship, leadership, citizenship and athletic achievement. This scholarship is in memory of William Killius for his many contributions to the development of our club, our youth and the sport of soccer. Awards of $500.00 each are given to two seniors (one male and one female) from each of the Pittsford high schools.
We use the following process to nominate and select our scholarship recipients:
- The Pittsford Mustangs Soccer Club Board of Directors identifies nominees.
- Nominations are sent to each high school by the Pittsford Mustangs Soccer Club William Killius Scholarship Committee by the end of March.
- Counseling Departments will make recommendations in April and advise the Pittsford Mustangs Soccer Club.
- The PMSC Scholarship Committee makes the final selection.
- Award presentations are made at each high school awards ceremony.
To apply for the scholarship - please fill out the online form located here (there are also instructions to mail it in if desired on this page).
