2012 Coaches:
As part of the PMSC boards commitment to improving player and coach development we are requesting that all coaches commit to the new coach learning opportunities we will provide through the coming season.
PMSC firmly believes that the way forward in improving player development begins with coach education. We have undertaken a partnership with Glen Buckley Soccer LLC to work with us in restructuring our indoor development programs that will incorporate coach learning. This requires a commitment from all our coaches regardless of current levels of licensing and experience.
Therefore we ask that before you request a coaching role within the club you are able to commit to your age groups indoor training times and the coach learning opportunities that Glen Buckley will provide throughout the Fall, Winter and Spring of the coming season. (one hour indoor training once a week for their age group from November through January for U8 to U13, and January through February for U14 and up as well as two 3 hour mandatory coaches learning sessions set up for October 16th and 23rd)

Placement of coaches will be determined and based on their commitment to the new program.
We are excited to introduce this new format and believe that a program is only as good as it's coaches and their willingness to gain underpinning knowledge that will ultimately enhance the overall experience of all PMSC participants, be them players, coaches or parents.

Coaches Training:
E License Requirement
Pittsford Mustangs has set a goal for all Travel Coaches to have a minimum of an E license to coach in the Club.

Equipment News:
It's time to turn in equipment from last years teams. By turning the equipment in, it insures that we can restock the bags with what you need, and keep your equipment at the highest level.
Please make arrangements to return it to my house, 10 Ithaca Drive, Pittsford (off of Van Voorhis) on either Monday August 22nd, or Tuesday August 23rd between 6 and 9 PM. I should be home, but if not, please mark off on the turn in sheet your team name, age, etc.. I am aware that several teams have 2 sets of corner flags, please turn in all equipment. Do not worry about needing your equipment for this years try outs. We have improved the tryout process this year, and it will be run by Glen Buckley. The Mustangs will supply all needed equipment.
